Everyone Counts

hands raised

In a world that often looks down on us, gives up on us, or rejects us, we must hold onto this truth: we all matter. No one is forgotten, no one is a mistake—we are all God’s people, perfectly made in His image. Laborers For the Harvest seeks to break down the barriers between the less fortunate by meeting them where they are, standing in our truth, and allowing God to use us to harvest a land filled with hope, potential, and love.

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. “

Dear God,

Often times I am overlooked, dismissed, & left out in the rain. But my life matters too.

Oh God, intercede for me. Help me to see me, the way you see me.

Amen

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

God sees you, knows you, and values you deeply. You are never overlooked in His eyes. Keep holding on.

Laborers & the Harvest

The Bible speaks often about laborers and the harvest, both in a literal sense and as a metaphor for spiritual work.

One of the most well-known verses is Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV):

“Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

What does it all mean?

The harvest represents people ready to receive God’s message and love.

The laborers are those who share the Gospel, serve others, and do God’s work.

What is our impact?

Jesus reminds us that while many hearts are ready, there aren’t enough workers willing to step out in faith
